Catherine Gude from Norway was crowned Miss International 1988, the grand finale of which took place in Gifu, Japan on 17th July 1988. She was only as young as 22 years of age and 175 cm tall when she bagged the coveted crown of Miss International. She defeated 45 other contestants to grab the title and made her country extremely proud. Norway brought the honourable crown home for the very first time with Gude’s victory.
