Jenny Annette Derek from Australia was crowned Miss International 1981 during the grand finale of the pageant held on 6th September in Kobe, Japan. She was only 20 years of age when she won the coveted title and became the second woman from Australia to win it since the pageant’s inception in 1960. With a gorgeous face and height of 173 cm, Jenny bested 41 other contestants in Kobe, Japan and won many hearts as she bagged the crown. Post that, she went on to a successful modelling career in Adelaide and also appeared in Wheel of Fortune as the prized hostess for several years. She and her husband also owned The Body Shop franchise in South Australia up until 2011. Currently, she is still in retail and is blessed with 3 beautiful children.
