The coronation night of Miss World 2021, the 70th edition of the Miss World, is all set to be held on 16th March 2022 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico where the forty semi-finalists will compete for the coveted crown. Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The coronation of the pageant was initially scheduled to be held on December 16, 2021 but it got postponed when a few delegates tested positive for covid-19.
While the semi-finalists are a batch of stunning and talented beauties, here are our Top 15 favourites for the international crown (in no particular order) -
Sienna Evans representing Bahamas
Sienna Evans was appointed Miss World Bahamas 2021 at a private ceremony held due to covid-19 in October 2021. She is 24 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. A bilingual, Evans speaks fluently in English and French. Sienna completed her degree in Neuroscience and Human Behaviour and currently owns and runs a network of Laboratories. At Miss World 2021, Sienna made it to Top 40 being one of the judges choice winners. She also secured a spot in Top 13 at Top Model Competition and in Top 28 at Beauty with a Purpose competition. Sienna, with her gorgeous exotic looks and her stunning personality, has made it to our favourites.
Caroline Teixeira representing Brazil
Caroline Teixeira was crowned Miss World Brazil 2021 on 19th August 2021. She is 23 years of age and stands 177 cm tall. A bilingual, Caroline speaks Portuguese and English fluently. After studying for a Law Degree, Caroline has continued her training by working in the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the aim of becoming a Public Prosecutor. Caroline made it to Top 40 by being one of the judges’ choice winners. She was also amongst top 28 at Beauty with a Purpose. Her dazzling smile and charming personality make her a part of our favourites for the crown.
Carol Drpic representing Chile
Carol Drpic was crowned the new Miss World Chile 2021 in an intimate ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Santiago hotel in July last year. She is 22 years of age and stands 173 cm tall. Born and raised in Punta Arenas, Magallanes, Magallanes y Antártica Chilena, Chile, Carol has a volunteer program called Corazones Australes, which is dedicated to protecting the well-being of the elderly in Magallanes. Carol Drpic was adjudged third runner-up at the Talent competition and also made it to Top 28 at Beauty with a Purpose competition. Carol is amongst almost all the hot picks list and has impressed everyone with her mesmerizing features and stunning personality.
Andrea Aguilera representing Colombia
The Miss Mundo Colombia organization crowned Andrea Aguilera on 14th August 2021 at the 'Hall 74' Event Center in the city of Bogotá. The 24-year-old beauty has a diploma in Neuro-linguistic Programming and a Technician in Early Childhood Care. Andrea’s Beauty with a Purpose project ‘Nutrir Neuronas’ tackles child malnutrition. She is working with Othello Nutrition to give specialized nutritional food to hundreds of children with chronic malnutrition. Andrea hails from Medellin, Antioquia and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. Andrea is definitely a strong competitor with a stunning smile and personality.
Olivia Yacé representing Cote D'Ivoire
The Miss Cote d’Ivoire organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2021 edition on 4th September 2021 at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire where Olivia Yacé from the Aries region crowned new queen. Olivia won the spot in Top 40 by winning Top Model, Head-to-Head and Multimedia fast-track challenges. She is 23 years of age and stands 180 cm tall. She speaks French, Spanish and English fluently. Hailing from Yamoussoukro, Olivia is a marketing and management major student and former runway model. Cote d'Ivoire’s Olivia knows how to pull off a bold outfit, most of her looks have been striking and vivid. She is surely a strong contender for the crown.
Emmy Peña representing Dominican Republic
The organization of Miss Mundo Dominicana hosted the coronation for 2021 edition on 4th September 2021 at the Barceló Grand Resort in Punta Cana where Emmy Peña was crowned the new queen. Emmy hails from Duarte province and works as a professional model. She has walked at various fashion shows including Bronx and Banco S/S 20 Show, Pyer Moss S/S 20 Show and RaisaVanessa S/S 20 Show. Emmy is 24 years of age and stands 180 cm tall. Emmy could surely be the second winner from the country at Miss World.
Ámar Pacheco representing Ecuador
Amar Pacheco Ibarra is 25 years of age and stands 172 cm tall. She is the daughter of the singer Silvana Ibarra and the renowned musician Gustavo Pacheco. Amar speaks English and Spanish and actively helps children with disabilities through Music at her parents' foundation and volunteers at integral arts centres and teaches musical theatre classes, besides singing. Pacheco will win the first crown for her country if she wins this year.
Rehema Muthamia representing England
Rehema Muthamia made it to Top 40 by winning the Beauty with a Purpose round. Rehema was crowned Miss England 2021 at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in August last year. The stunning beauty is 25 years of age and is a Genetics Graduate from the University of Sussex. A multilingual beauty, Rehema speaks four languages fluently. For her beauty with a purpose project, Rehema raised money for Women’s Aid and she hopes to use her platform to help other female victims. Rehema is beauty with brains who has an admirable personality.
April Benayoum representing France
April Benayoum is 22 years of age and stands 176 cm tall. A multilingual, April speaks French, English, Italian and German fluently. The French beauty has completed a first Degree in International Trade and Marketing and is working as a model and content creator. She is also studying for a master’s degree in Business. The French stunner has mesmerizing eyes and shows strong potential to win the international crown.
Manasa Varanasi representing India
Manasa Varanasi representing India made it to Top 40 after winning the Beauty with a Purpose round. The stunning Indian beauty from Telangana has shown immense dedication towards winning the crown. Through her advocacy, Varanasi promotes to strengthen child protection laws in India for her Beauty with a purpose project. She also flagged off ‘We Can’, a first-of-its-kind awareness campaign against sexual abuse of children. Manasa embodies ‘beauty with a purpose’ in its true sense with a stunning complimentary smile.
Karolina Vidales representing Mexico
From Jiquilpan, Karolina Vidales lives in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The stunning Mexican beauty won the spot in Top 40 by winning the Sports fast track competition. A multilingual, Karolina is fluent in Spanish, English, French and German. Karolina is also the founder of ‘Cultivando Una Esperanza’, a social initiative promoting vulnerable children in the state of Michoacán, laying the foundations for their development through health and education. If Karolina wins Miss World crown, she will become the second Miss World titleholder from her country.
Namrata Shrestha representing Nepal
Namrata Shrestha representing Nepal made it to Top 40 by winning the Head-to-Head fast track challenge. The 24-year-old Namrata is currently studying for a Post Graduate Degree in Sociology and is working as a Kindergarten teacher. Nepal has been giving an outstanding performance at Miss World in the recent years and with Namrata following in the footsteps, she will surely be a strong contender for the crown.
Tracy Perez representing Philippines
Tracy Maureen Perez representing Philippines has gained a spot in Top 40 by winning Head-to-Head and Beauty with a Purpose challenges at the fast-track competitions. Not new to the pageant world, Tracy joined Miss World Philippines 2019 as her first national pageant and placed in to the top 12 at the end of the finale. Perez competed in the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 pageant where she placed at Top 16. Tracy has proven her mettle in the pageantry with her stunning Filipino features and amicable personality.
Shudufhadzo Musida representing South Africa
Shudufhadzo Musida representing South Africa has made it to Top 40 by being one of the winners of Beauty with a Purpose. Musida became the first bald woman to win Miss South Africa. She studied at the University of Pretoria where she earned a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Musida is a dedicated advocate and spokeswoman for mental health awareness and empowering women and children. She is also a published author who uses her voice to create a strong influence amongst the people. Musida is one of the most accomplished women at Miss World this year and will impress everyone with her dedication, sincerity and beauty.
Alejandra Conde representing Venezuela
Alejandra Conde representing Venezuela made it to Top 40 by winning Head-to-Head Challenge. Alejandra Conde Licon was born in Cagua, Aragua to Mayra Licón and Héctor Conde. The stunning beauty is currently studying medicine at the Central University of Venezuela. Venezuela holds dominance at Miss World as she has won six Miss World crowns so far. Conde has already impressed everyone with her social cause and charming personality.
