Alexandria Flanigan of Cullman was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2021 on 10th January 2021 at The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Centre in Auburn. She was crowned by her predecessor Miss Alabama USA 2020 Kelly Hutchinson at the end of the event finale.
The 24-year-old diva is currently majoring in philosophy and minoring in political science at UAH. She serves as the pre-law honour society treasurer and is active in the university chapter of the NAACP as well. Alexandria is proud to have won especially while representing her hometown as the first African American Miss Cullman, as she sees her victory also as a victory for improving race relations and diversity.
Miss Alabama USA 2021 was the first ever beauty pageant, Alexandria Flanigan was part of and with her spectacular performance she managed to impress everyone. She is an advocate ambassador for ‘Filter of Hope’ which means she is responsible for raising funds toward the installation of the water filters used to aid families in obtaining clean drinking water.
