Christina Thompson was crowned Miss Virginia USA 2021 on 17th July 2021 at the Carpenter Theatre in Richmond. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Virginia USA 2020 Susie Evans for the title.
Christina is 25-years-old. She is an award-winning journalist who also works as a professional model. She graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University in 2018, where she was a member of student government and Kappa Beta Gamma sorority. She began her career as a TV news reporter after receiving a BA degree in Communication and minor degrees in journalism and writing.
She is the creator of the Purposeful Position Mentorship, a place to showcase women how to use their careers to benefit the world around them along with encouraging others to follow their footsteps. “I look forward to being the best Miss Virginia USA I can, by bringing the message of CONFIDENTLY BEAUTIFUL throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and being a shining example of a USA titleholder,” she said.
