Taylor Hale was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2021 on 7th August 2021 at McMorran Theater, Port Huron, Michigan. She succeeded Miss Michigan USA 2020 Jill Dobson for the title.
Miss Spirit of Detroit, Taylor is 26 years-old and attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., USA. She speaks fluent English and French and has also worked as an Essence magazine intern. Not new to pageantry, Taylor competed at Miss District of Columbia USA 2017. She finished in the Top 15. She was also the Miss Pure Michigan in the year 2019.
This year, Taylor had been a top contender and a fan favourite for the crown, since the beginning of the pageant and proved her worth during the finale event with her stellar performance. If Taylor wins, she will be the fourth Miss Michigan USA to represent the U.S. in Miss Universe following Carole Gist, Kenya Moore and Rima Fakih who were crowned Miss USA in 1990, 1993 and 2010, respectively.
