Allison Chu of Honolulu was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2021 on 10th December 2020 at Luxury Row Hotel in Waikiki at a virtual event. She succeeded Miss Hawaii USA 2020 Samantha Neyland.
The 26-year-old, Chinese American beauty holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She has studied ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi at UH Manoa, sung Hawaiian music for 11 years with the Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, is a professional hula dancer, and has volunteered with the Protect Kahoʻolawe Organization.
Allison is an aspiring dermatologist who enjoys spreading awareness on sun safety using her hashtag #SafeintheSunHawaii. She is a strong, confident, and focused woman who believes in working hard and achieving her goals.
