Gazini Christiana Ganados was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2019 at the grand finale night of Binibining Pilipinas 2019 held on 9th June 2019 at the Smart Araneta Colesium, Quezon city. This was the 56th edition of the national pageant where forty gorgeous delegates competed for the coveted crown. Gazini succeeds and was crowned by none other than Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, her predecessor.
The 22-year-old Filipina beauty represented Cebu at the national pageant and stands 170 cm tall. Born in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte to a Filipino mother and a Palestinian father, Gazini has a mixed heritage and has enjoyed various cultures. She is also not new to the pageantry as she was a part of Miss World Philippines 2014 where she placed in the Top 13. Her Middle Eastern roots and her Filipina heritage make her a deadly combination to watch out for at the international competition.
