Somnang Alyna (also known as Samnang Alyna) was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2019 at the finale of the pageant held on 31st March 2019. She is hails from Phnom Penh and is currently pursuing her studies at the Pannasastra University of Cambodia. Alyna has earlier represented Cambodia in World Miss University 2017, where she was placed as the first runner-up.
Alyna wishes to promote women’s welfare through education. She also wants to help poor and orphaned children go to schools so that they can all have better future. As a public speaker, she wants to inspire all young people to pay attention to their education.
