Ayu Maulida was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2020 6th March 2020 and is representing Indonesia at Miss Universe 2020. She succeeded Puteri Indonesia 2019 Frederika Alexis Cull for the title. Ayu is one of the delegates who has impressed audience with her sincerity, dedication, and determination towards winning the title.
The beauty queen is a competitive Muslim woman who loves challenges. She’s been living her dream as a model since she was 15 and is passionate about fashion. Ayu’s goal is to prove to all women that the sky's the only limit and wants to show that every dream is possible if you work hard and are passionate. She believes that everyone should have access to proper education and healthcare and co-founded Senyum Desa/Smiling Village, an association that helps rural areas in Indonesia.
