Aurora Pijuan from the Philippines was crowned Miss International 1970 on 16th May 1970 in Osaka, Japan. She was the second winner from the Philippines to win the title of Miss International. Aurora participated in Binibining Pilipinas 1970 where she won the title of Binibining Pilipinas International 1970 and went ahead to win the international crown. Her victory made the Philippines the first country to win the Miss International pageant twice. Aurora is a true beauty queen as she is still very invested in making her nation a better place.
