Mirta Teresita Massa from Argentina was crowned Miss International 1967 on 29th April 1967 in Long Island, United States. She succeeded Miss International 1965 Ingrid Finger as the Miss International Organization took a hiatus for a year. She was the second Latina and the first ever beauty queen of Argentina to win the crown for her nation. Mirta was 22 years old when she was crowned. She became a celebrity in her country after her win as she graced fashion magazines and pursued a career in modelling and acting.
