Alejandra Gonzalez who represented New Mexico at Miss USA 2019 was placed as the first runner-up. She's originally from south Texas and said New Mexico has been her home for the past year. She started her pageant career when she was 20 years old. She shares her passion for education by teaching students about the importance of financial literacy.
Gonzalez uses her love for animals to advocate for various animal causes. Through her life challenges, Gonzalez has realized that sometimes things do not always work out as they are planned. Rather, if you are open and willing to walk down a path different than from what you originally expected, sometimes it leads you right where you should be. She sure was a crowd’s favourite for Miss USA 2019 crown and after she lost by an inch, the pageant lovers are waiting for her to participate again and represent USA globally.
