Emma Mary Tiglao represented Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2019 where she was placed at the top 20 by the end of the event finale. Emma also bagged two special awards – Miss Sunrise Popularity and the May Care award. The diva shared her experiences and expressed her gratitude for the title she is now carrying, that is of Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2019. She further talked about the crown which she has been embracing and said, "Through it all, I realized that the sparkle of the crown is momentary. It's the purpose by which it was given that is far more important. To find a higher calling in this world, and act on it. To make a difference in the lives of others, no matter how small. In the end the true measure of fulfilment is not always in winning, but discovering the best in all of us”.
The diva further talked about her life changing moment which was, when she saw the little children in the poor communities, abandoned by their parents because of poverty. The beauty then decided to help these children. Emma is best known for her benevolent nature. She lends her support to children in Nazareth, Pampanga who were suffering from mental disorder.
